I’ve been spending the past year thinking about how I can better connect with you in more authentic ways. Just like the quality of the relationships I hold dear with farmers, ceramists, weavers, fishermen, and brewers, who share their deeply personal stories about their lifework and ancestral wisdoms.

So I thought I’d try going back to writing by hand. A memo to myself, as well as a letter to you. It feels the most intimate way I know how. Because these journal entries are near to my heart’s voice, I’d like to keep it invitation-only for now. There will not be a clear sign-up page navigable from my website. So please do take a moment to sign up, should you be interested in receiving my journal entries from the Japanese countryside moving forward.
